An RSS feed (or news feed) is a means by which you can stay informed about what's going on at Rutland Youth Choirs without having to regularly visit the website.

Rutland Youth Choirs are two choirs for young people aged 5+ based in Rutland and the surrounding area. The choirs meet weekly on Wednesday afternoons during term-time and provide a welcoming, inclusive space for young people who would like to develop their musical interests and to create friendships with other budding musicians. Rehearsals are fun and varied, encompassing warm-ups, music theory tuition, and a wide variety of songs in different styles.
There is no audition process or need to have prior musical experience; all you need is enthusiasm!
Our rehearsals take place at Oakham Methodist Church (venue change from January 2025 due to the temporary closure of All Saints' Church). The timings are as follows:
4.00 - 4.45pm Young Voices (Schools Years 1-4)
4.30 - 5.30pm Junior Choir (School Years 5 and above)
From September 2025, we are launching a separate Senior Choir for singers in Year 7 and above! Singers aged 11-18 are welcome to join us at any point.
